A woman after God!

This is a poem I wrote last night before I went to bed. Tell me what you think!

A woman is a treasure and a jewel
to always be held close and never let go of.
A gift so valuable that God always keeps
her close to His heart.

A girl is like a lily.
One that is as white as snow
and pure like refined gold or silver.
No matter how old a girl may get,
she will always be a princess
in God's eye's.

A lady is a rose.
A true lady is so beautiful on the inside
that it captures the eye's and heart
of all people, because it radiates the true
treasure etched within-
a gentle and quiet spirit, bold and brave
to take on the tasks others might see as silly,
but in the end they too will see
that she is a treasured rose, valuable, noble,
and with great character the whole time.

A woman after God's very own heart!

Tangled!

I am going to see this tonight with some friends! YAY! :)

Have you seen it before?

~You are for me~

Sometimes life can be tough. Here recently, a lot has happened in my life and I don't
know why...I do know that no matter what trials and tribulations come, that I am holding
steadfast to Jesus, no matter the cost. I don't want to explain everything that has happened
because I don't want you to feel bad for me, so I won't say. I know that there are many
more people going through so much more than I ever have. I have much to be thankful for!
No matter how tough this life may be I will/we can remain faithful till the end. No matter
where God leads me, I say "yes," even if it may be painful, His will is always best. I
don't think God gives us pain and suffering, but He does use all terrible things to work out
for our good. Our job is to trust, obey and after having done all things to stand firm until
the coming of Jesus. I know that God is for me and not against me. Even when I doubt
in Him or myself, I know down within me that He is in ultimate control. I just need to
trust and be confident in myself and in Him, and in who He has called me to be at this
time in my life. There are so many questions which I wish I knew that answer's, but
right now, I don't know. That's where God comes in. He open's and closes doors in my
life. At times I wish He would just make all my dreams come true and I get inpatient. I
have to then calm down and think about what He wants me to do now and maybe the
dreams I have are from Him and He will make them come true, or He might just change
my dreams!? I don't know what's in store for me. All I do know is that God is for me and
not against me. He will never forsake me in my weaknesses...and for that I am happy and
thankful!

These are the words I would say....if I died today....

Take to heart and tell me what you think and/or what you would say?

Love God above all things. Live like it was your last breath on earth. Love others above
yourself. Defend the weak-those who are weak and poor in any way, those who are sad
and down cast; those who can’t help themselves. Forgive your enemies and pray for
them. Be a living example of the Bible everywhere you go, whoever you talk to. Do not
be scared or fearful of anything, for God is on your side. If God is for you, who can ever
stand up against you? Speak words of life and truth. Feed the hungry, clothe the naked,
and give to those who don’t have. Speak the Truth when you have the chance, for it might
be your last chance. Be who you are called to be-a light for all to see! Be pure in your
body, soul (mind, will and emotions). Read your Bible and grow in Jesus everyday. Fall
completely in love with Him, your Savior and King! Spread the gospel into all of the world.
Risk your life if you have to for God, for He gave you that life….who are you to take it
away from Him? For He is the potter and you are the clay. Let Him mold and make you
into the person you are called to be. When you learn something new that is good and
helpful, share it with those who need to hear it! In all things, DO WHAT‘S RIGHT IN
GOD‘S EYES and be blessed beyond all imagination! Love tremendously and NEVER,
EVER, EVER give up on God!

Colonoscopy...

So today I had a colonoscopy for my intestines. My Dr. was Dr. McCain. Everyone
was really nice and it went smoothly. I looked normal, they just have to look at the
biopsies. They took biopsies from my intestines and we will get the results back in
5-7 days. I am on anesthesia right now and it will go away around 8 a.m. so I forget
a lot of things. I will try to revise this later when my brain is more with me! I personally
think I have IBS which is Irritable Bowl Syndrome. Thanks everyone for praying for
me! Sorry I haven't been on in awhile. I will try to do better...:)

The Father

What do you picture as "the perfect father?" Did you know that no matter how your
earthly father acts or is, your heavenly Father will never fail you! In all of the storms in
life, there is only one father who can be "the perfect father" for you. People fail, and
often times when we fail, we fail miserably! It's sad, but the joy of it is that that is why
God is there. If we were perfect, we probably wouldn't want Him or maybe even need
Him in a sense. God is so faithful and true to keep His words. There is none like Him.
My earthly fathers have failed many times, but God is their strength and their stronghold,
their help in time of need. If you have a father who serves and loves Jesus, I encourage
you to learn and grow from his mistakes and look at His life as an example to look to.
Pray for him and your mother. God does powerful things when we submit and pray
for our leaders. God has been so faithful in protecting me in many of my life situations.
I have been abused, BUT God brought me out. I am adopted now and am so thankful
for the sacrifice that my parents made (I will try to write out my testimony on a page
sometime :) ) Don't give up! Love God and pray for others! Have strength! Be bold!
Live the life God wants you to! Submit and trust God in all areas! God is and will protect
you! :) Just have faith and love for Him above all! What do you think? What are your
thoughts?

What is most important to you?

I have been thinking about this question a lot here recently. I have been thinking-what is
the most important thing? I want to be able to give all of myself for the sake of Jesus and
the gospel. What is my life to me? What does it mean to me? How can I know that I have
given God everything? I believe the answer lies in the reality that if I have truly given up
everything "that's mine," that I can tell by how much I seek and want the things and the
little pleasures in this world. I am not of this world, so nothing belongs to me anyways.
My home is heaven! What is most important to you?

My room's new look!

This is some pictures of my room's new look. It's still not finished, but it's mainly done.
I am still going to hang some things on the wall. The first picture is of the right side of my
room (It's the guest bed). The second picture is right in front of the guest bed (my computer
and desk). The third picture is right next to the desk (where you enter the room). The fourth
picture is of my bed and closet when you enter the room. Right next to my bed is my/my
sister's vanity. I use is while she lives in Michigan! So, how do you like it?

be outside and in the presence of God that I thought that this is one picture I
really like that represents how I feel right now!

Fun Filled Day

Today was Great! We painted my room and FINISHED (I will put pictures
of that when I am done touching up and making it look better!). I also went
to a castle park with Two friends-Ginger and Antonia! It was a lot of fun!

Then I went to Giant City Park with the Chi Alpha group at our community college!
We played games and I brought my brothers Trevor and Jordan and John along! We
played softball and Johnny caught the ball! Go little John! Also we had a Bible Study
and had a little cook out! The food was delicious! I didn't have pics from the cookout,
just of Jordan and John, so here they are:

The top is Jordan and the bottom is John! It was a great Fun Filled Day! :)
Thanks God! I also saw 2 jet trails, which I love to see! :)

*Passion*

Today at church the message was on discipleship. One thing that one pastor preached on
(because there was a guest speaker for Mission Sunday) that just melted my heart was
passion. When you think of "passion" or being "passionate" what first comes to your mind?
When I think of passion, there are several things that I think of. One of which is how much
I desire to be passionate with my Jesus. I want to be like Him in every way. The pastor
was talking about David's life and how he was truly a man after God's own heart. It was
so powerful, I just wanted to be what he was saying in every way!!! Don't you just love
it when you hear a message and it makes you fired up and ready to go for it? I love passion!
Passion drives us as human's. It makes us go where we are at. I know that I was really
convicted when I heard this message. I know that I don't spend as much time with my
Savior and King as I need to...and that is not His fault at all; He is always calling my name,
but do I ever follow Him-in EVERYTHING? Not just the little things or the things that are
comfortable to me? Will I follow Him to the cross? Am I willing to sell everything I have
for Him? Will I give it all for the sake of Jesus? Am I passionate enough to drive me to
the "end?" I know and want to be at the place where I am so completely love struck and
abandoned in Him that nothing else in this entire earth matters! It says in God's word in
Matthew 6:19-20, "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths
and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves
treasures in heaven, where moths and rustdo not destroy, and where thieves do
not break in and steal." I want that! I want Passion for what God has passion for! I
want the heart that God has a heart for!

Create in me a pure heart O God! Make me into the woman of God, a woman
after Your own heart, that You will be proud of! Make me more passionately
in love with YOU, my Savior and Love of my life!

I encourage you to be passionate about Jesus! If you don't know how, ask, seek, knock!
Hopefully this helped you in some way! :) Let me know! :)

The Lost Get Found!

I just really, really, really like Britt Nicole's songs! I like her lyrics
more! How can you be used by God to get the lost found in Him?
"why do we go with the flow or take the easier road, why are we
playin' it safe...?"

10 Ways To Show True Love

1. Give up something of yourself. This is tough many times, but
if you give of yourself no matter how much it may be, it shows
others how much you really care and love them!
2. Give a gift. Giving gifts are simple, yet mean so much. I know
that when I receive a gift from someone, I feel good inside. I
often think, "They remembered me...that's really nice."
3. Write a letter. I absolutely love to write letters and I know that
many people like to receive letters. The thoughts and time one
spends writing confirms how much one cares about the other.
Also, they can keep those letters for as long as they wish to be
reminded of what you have written to them!
4. Hugs and kisses. I am a very affectionate person and from my
own experience I can say that I really like to give hugs and I
guess you could say I am a "touchy" person. Almost everyone
    enjoys hugs! :)
5. Listen. Sometimes this one can take practice to really learn how
to do this. Listening shows the person who is talking that you care
and love to be there and be helpful to them. It shows that you are
not just blowing them off. I enjoy it when others listen and I bet
    you do too!
6. Give wisdom from the Bible. You can NEVER go wrong here!
If it's in the Bible, it is Truth! Truth always shows love, no matter
the circumstance. God's word is living and active. love is always
the root (or correction or guidance too, which boils down to love!)
7. Give up your time. Giving your time for someone shows that
you will take what you have and impart it into their life. Taking
time out of your day shows that you love and care about what
the other person is going through!
8. Words of Affirmation. Words of affirmation generally show that
you love and care about the other person. When you say "I love
you!" for example, does it make you feel loved? I personally think
"love" is thrown around too casually nowadays. It can be
wonderful to know that you are truly loved!
9. Do an act of service. Service is your actions. Actions often speak
louder than your words because what you think in your heart, you
will act on. That is why it's so important to have a pure heart and
mind. If someone did something for me out of love, I would
recognize it because the true love they show is revealed through who
    they truly are!
10. Most of all I think is to pray. Praying over someone is a definate
way to show someone you care about them. When someone
remembers to pray for me, I often feel like they are filling a gap that
needed their prayer of faith. The Bible says if two or more are gathered
together in my name it will be done. Overall though it has to have faith,
truth, and God's word in the prayer!

I encourage you to show true love starting today! That's what I am
going to do! Tell me what kind of results you get over a period of
time you think is best! :)

Emergency Room

So on Monday I was playing soccer with a group of friends and I had my
watch on and the ball came flying in the air and hit my hand really hard. I
became dizzy so I set out for the rest of the game. On Tuesday I went to
work with my friend (Amy), she drove me there because it was a way to
save gas and she's such a nice friend. Then this is where it all gets bad, I
started throwing up at work. I felt terrible. I was already dizzy and woozy
by 10:00 and this didn't help me any. So Amy called my Mom while I was
throwing up and Mom came rushing my way while I waited on her in the
hall in the office. She decided to take me to the Emergency Room because
she didn't know if it was from my stomach (because I have been having
a lot of stomach issues for a year now), or if it was from a possible
concussion, or if it was just the flu! So we stayed in the Emergency Room
from 12:30-6:30 p.m. By the time I got out they found out that I have a
urinary infection and I am pretty dehydrated! I feel terrible right now! I
am continuously dizzy! I think I had the flu too, because I threw up again
while at the hospital and I went through to IV's and I pretty much passed
out when the nurse put in the medicine in me to help me to not throw up
(it was through the IV).

It was the strangest feeling in the world! I be
If you could continue to pray for me and our family, it's much appreciated!
I am OK!!! I just don't feel well, so don't worry about me! Thanks for
the prayers and God Bless! I am already feeling much better as the day has
progressed! :)

Love Is NOT a Fight!

Great lyrics and movie!

:)....While I'm Waiting!

I really, really, really like this song! I feel like this is what God is teaching me
in many ways right now and a lot of times-to wait on Him and rest in Him! :)

(I also really like Fireproof and Kirk Cameron/this video 2!)

Major...?

So I might be changing my major. I'm not sure what I am supposed to do or be.
I feel like my life is on a "pause" button sort of. I just want what God wants above
all. It's very hard to make a decision on what I want to do with my life. I desire to
be a wife and a mother, that's for sure! I love children...and I love people. I enjoy
being outside and I like to spend time with my Savior. Maybe I am just supposed
to seek right now. Maybe I am just supposed to seek God with all that I am. He
will tell me and give me wisdom. I have been thinking though...what if I just don't
get a major, would that make me a failure? I really want to have a major in something,
but I don't know what it is... ALL I want is God's will! God please help me trust
You and hear Your voice! Open and close doors in my life for Your will! Guide me
in all of Your ways and lead me where only You want me to go! I wait for You! Renew
me and help me stay steadfast above all!

How did you know what you wanted to major in?

You Are More!

I like this song too! :) You are so special to God! You are more
than the mistakes and the problems in your life and the ones that
you have created! Believe this truth...

Work...Power Out!

So today at work, the lights went out halfway through the day. I had to room two
patients without lights! I had to use a flashlight! I have never done that before.
Everyone wanted to go home early, but the power only went out because a semi
truck ran into the power line and the hospital electricity was down and everything
had to be run by a generator! It was a "berry slow day!" and sort of boring! I went
out to eat lunch with Amy. No one was able to go home, but we did have a short
day! It was good times! Good times! :) So how has your day gone? Anything
interesting happen? At work? At home? somewhere else? Tell us about it!

Light Up The Sky!

I love this song! I believe this song is so true! Every time I hear it, I just get so very
excited! I believe God does light up the sky for us! He gave us everything beautiful
rainbows, butterflies, birds, and even airplanes! :) God is so big and glorious! Thanks
God for everything! "You light, light, light up the sky to show me You are with me....!"
Thanks Daddy!

Wonderful Grandparents!

This is a picture of my Grandpa and Grandma Daly. Two very wonderful
people. My Grandfather is a doctor and has helped many people.I see him
as one of the best Grandfathers in all of the world. His name is Michael, and
my Dad was actually named after him and Jordan's (my little brother) middle
name is Michael and he was named after him and my father as well. He is so
so nice to us. His wife who's name is Jeanne Daly was also a very kind and
thoughtful woman and grandmother. She enjoyed helping many people. On
this day actually she surprised my grandfather for his birthday to go to see the
Mavericks play a game of baseball. We all came down and had matching
shirts that said, "Happy Birthday Grandpa!" It was a day that I will never, ever
forget!

This was taken about five or six years ago. The newspaper people came by and
took our picture and put it in the newspaper the very next day! I am the only
girl in the picture just so you know! My grandmother had actually paid for a
suite for our family and filled it with food! It was so nice. At this time I did not
know that my grandmother had a cancer inside of her. They had told her that
she could only live for maybe at the longest six months. She proved them wrong!
She lived for two whole years! The day she died I was very sad, but I was glad to
know that she knew God and that she was out of her misery. To this day I feel like
we have grown every closer to Grandpa Daly through this pain. Thanks Grandpa
for being so good to us and for helping many other people! I love you!

Stomach Update

So we went to the Center for Medical Arts yesterday for my appointment. We
waited in the waiting room for about 30-45 minutes. It was a tiring wait. I had
just got off work and was still in my work clothes. The doctor finally came in
and told me that my other tests came back normal. I was relieved! Then he
told me something that really shocked me! He said "you will need to have a
colonoscopy done in two weeks. I was utterly stunned and embarrassed. I
immediately thought that that is what "older" people get, not people my age.
I will be in the hospital for 3 hours for the test. They will put me to sleep to get it
done. I am not excited about this test at all! I do hope they find out something,
anything would be great!!!
