Mirror Jesus.... How can you reflect Jesus in your life today? As water reflects the face, so one's life reflects the heart. ~Proverbs 27:19 For now we see only a reflection in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.

Hand Picked
I think something that I want to share with you that I think is amazing and wonderful is that God knows exactly who you are going to marry or did marry. God made that person JUST for you. I am so amazed at how God does that. It's so amazing and fascinating to me. We don't have to make things happen, they just will and in His timing and hopefully we are wise in hearing His voice and we go to the right one. It is our job to grow in Christ and build and be the kind of person we believe God has made us to be. As we seek God and if our future spouse is seeking God-it's like a triangle and we will meet at the top-in the center of God's will. Everything will work out right and good if we are TRULY seeking Jesus. It's in His hands the outcome of the relationship if we are seeking Him. Our job is just to obey Him in all we do. God really does care VERY much about who we marry and our lives. He cares about our future children and He even cares about what we eat and how we act and everything about our lives. He doesn't want us to be a "fan of Jesus" but a true follower of Jesus! Jesus wants us to take up our cross and our lives and lay them at His feet-trusting Him in all areas and in all things. Our life-once given to Jesus is not our own, but God's. If we are a true follower of Jesus, our lives will be evidence of it and it will show, there will be fruit of that in our lives. We will be set apart and different. We won't casually date because we know that the heart and life of someone is serious-but we do it out of respect and the intention of marriage in mind. We seek God and His plan for our lives without question. We study His words and His life and we do what's right because it's right, not to make someone happy or any other reason. We do what's right because we want to please God and because it's right. Humbleness is a key to all of this. Humility and trust in Christ is important to any follower and child of God! So I encourage you to grow in your faith, grow strong in Jesus and do not give into sin, don't go to the things of this world because they can't satisfy you. It will be hard at times, but the reward in the end is worth it all! Jesus is the best thing and once you really know Him that's all you will want to know-is how to please and honor Him in all you do and say.
Please wait patiently and seek Jesus and His will for your life. That is one thing that I am learning every day and I hope you learn that as well! God will work all things out for your good if you seek Him with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength! :)

First Kiss
I believe the first kiss is a very special moment. It is something that one shares with the person that God has made for them to be with from the moment they get married, until death. It is something beautiful and something God created for His purpose and His glory, as well as the wedding night and all that is held in it. As a girl, I can tell you that it is so special to be able to watch weddings where the couple has never been kissed before and this is their first kiss ever. It is truly amazing! I have never been kissed or even had a boyfriend before because I am waiting for the one God has for me. I know that when he comes into my life I will be ready, until then I am learning and preparing to be a good wife and mother. I know that when I do get married I will be able to tell my future husband that I have saved all that I am for him, that I have waited patiently and have not given up. Even in my weak moments of thoughts, I have kept pure-God has helped me to be faithful to the man He has for me!
When someone gets married, it is a commitment, it is something that should last your whole lifetime! Every good and perfect gift is from above and marriage is apart of that gift. Marriage should not be solely based upon looks-outward beauty fades, but inward beauty should be nourished and kept growing. Every person has a gift and that gift is given to all and is only to be given to one person-the man or woman they marry! God forgives and He heals, but He also hates disobedience and sin. God restores and makes all things new, but He also has laws that must be kept. Apart from Him, we can do nothing.
I encourage you to wait and pray for your future spouse. Some days in our lives it feels as if the day will never arrive and that there is no hope, but there is and it is Christ who guides us and leads us along the way. If we follow Him, He will lead us to the right person at the perfect time! So here I am waiting and growing-not giving up and staying faithful until the end. Will you wait and pray for your future as well? Don't just look to the here and now, but see the future and all of the wonderful plans God has for you! For the Maker is our Husband-God! :) Wait on Him! Save your kiss and all that you are for the person you marry in Heaven-God and on earth-your future spouse! It's the second best decision you will ever make! :)

"The List"
I don't know about you ladies and gent's, but I know something that I do that is very helpful that I do to help me keep my focus on Jesus and my heart on my future man of my/God's dreams! Here it is: I write letters to my future husband so that I can give them to him on my wedding day to show him that I thought about him and that I then directed my feelings to God and my future husband in my letter, instead of another person. Another thing that I do is write a list of necessities of what I want and desire in a future spouse. In my prior post I showed you an example of a letter that I write to my future spouse. In this post I will show you an example of "the list" of what I want in a future spouse. I will not tell you everything, well, because you don't need to know everything and it's kind of personal. I will give you an example of some things that I have written down in what I do desire in a spouse and hopefully it will help you and maybe help you brain storm and make a list of what you want in a future spouse! It is important to set your standards high and keep them there because you are valued for you and for the person God is making you into! Just like your future spouse should develop character and godliness in their lives while they are waiting for you! PRAY FOR HIM/HER! Your future spouse (whether you meet the entire "list" or not) should love you for who you are. I know that the most important thing to me in a spouse is that he has a great relationship with Christ and his family! So here I go, I will start "the list" and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask! Leave comments too! :) Thanks!
